Pete & Melissa live on Sapelo Island, Georgia.  They met in March of 2003 in Roanoke, VA and have never looked back.  Pete proposed at 12:01 on January 1, 2004.  He wanted it to be the first thing he did in the new year.  Melissa obviously said yes!

Melissa is a research scientist at the Univesity of Georgia Marine Institute.  She has a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics.  Her research has taken her all over the world, including Antarctica.  

Pete is a financial consultant and owns his own firm, Krull & Company that specializes in socially & environmentally responsbile investing.
